Numerical Study of Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow over Circular Cylinders in 2D Cross Flow

چکیده

Among the many experiments Which deals with study of characteristics flow, a numerical flow air (Pr=0.71) crosses circular cylinder is conducted. Variations in and thermal such as average Nusselt number, local pressure coefficient drag are presented around cylinders for Reynold numbers ranging from 100 to 5000 by solving incompressible two-dimensional unsteady Navier-Stokes energy equations. Commercial software package FLUENT 19 applied solve The diameter circle D = 20 mm, width times cylinder. results obtained compared data previous Number values showed acceptable agreement. confirm noticeable decrease transition low Reynolds high values.
